@snook155 there is no 8GB 3rd Gen, there is only 32 & 64GB 3rd gens so your 8GB is 2nd gen which means it can’t do all the stuff

iPhone OS 4 will work with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and the second- and third-generation iPod touch this summer, and with iPad in the fall. Not all features are compatible with all devices. For example, multitasking is available only with iPhone 3GS and the third-generation iPod touch (32GB and 64GB models from late 2009).”

@Superiorpakfan the jiggle has been there since os 2.0 or before. if you tap and hold an app, all the apps jiggle to show that they can be rearranged
can ipod touch 8GB 3rd Gen do all that stuff?
I have Iphone 3GS 16GB..
I will not know it update 4.0 os ?

That jiggle @ 3.18 looks like a bug somebody had upload on youtube way back before 4.0 came out. I guess the engineers knew this was a popular bug about apps jiggling decided to use/creat that feature cause it looked neat!
os4 .. spell checker..lol its 2010. multitasking.. lol its 2010.. folders..lol its 2010. lol open attachments.. its 2010. gamecenter.. on the iphone os.. lol iad ..oh my save the worst for last. html5 is not a standard in 2010… oh my apple is trying to isolate themselves from the world. oh what a mess… iads stick that tentpole in your bunghole.
will they built-in camera and microphone in the iPod Touch in OS 4.0??
